Privacy Policy

Klean99 (“we,” “us”) operates a platform that lets customers book cleaning jobs, dispatches them to workers on our team, and lets customers rate completed jobs. This page explains what information we collect to run that, and what we do with it.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and a password (stored as a salted hash; we never store or see your plaintext password).

Booking information. When a customer books a job, we collect the service address, the requested date/time, and the price.

Location. A worker’s approximate location is recorded while they are on shift (available for jobs), so we can dispatch the nearest one. This is used only for matching, the app only sends it while on shift, and going off shift clears the last reported location.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number. Stripe handles that directly and shares with us only what we need to confirm and refund charges.

Ratings and job history. Ratings and comments a customer leaves after a job are stored and linked to the worker who did the work.

Device information for notifications. If a worker enables push notifications, we store a browser-issued subscription identifier (not tied to any personal identifier beyond the account) so we can deliver job offers to that device.

How we use this information

• To create and dispatch orders to the nearest available worker.
• To process payments and refunds through Stripe.
• To notify workers of new job offers and customers of order status changes.
• To maintain worker performance records used in future dispatch decisions.
• To respond to support requests.

Who we share it with

• The assigned worker sees the customer’s name, address, and scheduled time for a job they’ve accepted.
• Stripe processes payments on our behalf.
• Pusher delivers realtime order-status updates.
• Push notification services (operated by Apple, Google, or your browser vendor) deliver job-offer notifications to workers who enable them.

We do not sell your information to third parties.

Data retention

We keep account and order history for as long as your account is active, plus 3 years afterward for tax and dispute-resolution purposes, unless you request earlier deletion.

Your rights

You can delete your account yourself at any time from the Account page in the app. Deletion removes your profile, sign-in, and devices; completed bookings and payment records are kept for tax and dispute-resolution purposes, and past ratings stay on record without your name. Cookies and sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. It’s required for the app to function and isn’t used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Children

Klean99 is not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under 18.

Security

We use industry-standard practices (hashed passwords, encrypted connections) to protect your data, but no system is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you directly.
